Life Forms and Infini-D

Life Forms effortlessly creates animation for use in other 3D graphics solutions. From the simple walk generator, to high powered editing of keyframed and motion capture based animations, Life Forms out performs all other character animation tools.

Life Forms empowers you with an innovative tool to create 3D human and character motion to complement Infini-D and other 3D programs.

Life Forms imports and Exports to Infini-D 3.0 or later. On export, the Life Forms animation data is merged with the imported Infini-d file to create a new Infini-d file.

 


Guidelines for creating models for export to Life Forms

Models built to the following guidelines are animated more easily by Life Forms.

  • Body parts must be linked
  • Centerpoints must be positioned at the pivot points of each body part
  • Models must be scaled correctly in Infini-D
  • Test the model often in Life Forms to ensure it works properly
  • If you import a very large or very small model, adjust the scaling in Infini-D and import the scene again. Do not adjust the figure height in Life Forms
  • All the figures you want to include in an animation must be imported froma single Infini-D file
  • To copy an animation from the Life Forms default model to a model created in Infini-D, the default body angle of the imported model must be set to zero
  • The closer the proportions the imported model are to the Life Forms default model, the better animations will copy
